Dream Life

                                          Everything. Your highs. Your lows. Your happiest moments and the most painful ones. Your failures and  your success. Your losses and your gains. Just  remember-people can't come in and out of your life for no reason. The lessons you learn and the growth that you experience is never spontaneous. It's always meant to be. There's a higher purpose. A goal. A final destination; or a peal in your journey that you will have no idea of until you reach it. But for that- you need to climb the mountain. For that -you need to look for a deeper meaning . For that you need to pay attention to everything and everyone around you, especially those that love you and leave you.                                                 The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearances, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company- a church- home. The  remarkable thing is we have choice  every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for the  day. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is  attitude- I am convinced that life is  10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you-we are in charge of our attitudes.

                                             i know right now you feel broken like a pile of shattered glass. as though your wishes are all strewn like dandelion seeds in the grass. i know you feel like a snowflake tumbling wildly on its fall. you had hoped for a soft landing but you're still swept up in it all. bur your dreams aren't birthday candles that you have one chance to blow. and failure isn't permanent- it just gives you room to grow. the earth has its tragedies too, but it's still a beautiful place. just look at all the miracles staring you right in the face: broken windows can be repaired. brand new dandelions can sprout. and flames can be reignited even when you blow them out. it's the world's way of telling you you're going to be just fine. all you have to do is give it a bit of time.
